I have lived in Colorado all of my life. I have four sisters, two are older and two are much younger. I have a daughter named Lilah who is so amazing to me. She is very smart and funny and very fun to be around. I love to be outside. My favorite summer activities are camping and riding my bike. I also LOVE to whitewater kayak though I don't do it as much as I wish I did. In the winter I like to go skiing and I can't wait to take Lilah tubing and sledding.
I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Denver. Before I became a teacher I used to work as a Project Coordinator in a laboratory that does all sorts of fun scientific tests on wastewater and drinking water to see if it is safe for the environment. It was really cool and we used some pretty awesome looking equipment like liquid liquid extractors (LLE's), and mass spectrometers (think CSI, when they put pieces of carpet in a machine to see what the fibers are made of).
