Who's ready to open a new school!??

So, here we are. Niver is no more and in two days I will be welcoming STEM Launch's first ever 8th grade class. I'm so excited to see so many of the amazing and wonderful kids I taught last year, and meet some new faces. I'm also excited to be able to think outside the box as far as teaching goes. This should be good. Stay tuned.

Barr Lake!

Today Lilah and I went to Barr Lake nature refuge to have a picnic and take a walk. It is gorgeous there. I love that in Colorado there are so many beautiful places so close to home. They have this beautiful boardwalk that goes over the water, and you can watch the birds fly and the fish jump through the binoculars in the gazebo. We had a lot of fun there and I can't wait to go back. Lilah really loved it! Summer vacation is going very well so far.
